Night Terrors - Augmented Reality Survival Horror

This app turns your house into an interactive horror game, it says " Our aim is to create the scariest game ever made . It's a highly immersive, photorealistic, binaural,  AUGMENTED REALITY survival horror  game for mobile devices.  Gameplay takes place at home, after dark, with the lights off and your headphones on.  " read more at indiegogo.com The thing I'd think is always to make the gameplay so that it just isn't something you play through once, but something you have to get back to. This is, of course, by own idea about any of it, not something the devs would implement realistically. I am thinking a haunting that progresses from day to day, with a few style of goal, such as for instance finding some hidden clue or object, that changes and affects how the haunting in your own home progresses. This will add apprehensiveness, while you would know you would have to "check it" each day, and each day it might get progressively worse, perhap

Star Ocean 5 announced for PS3 and PS4, manufactured by Tri-Ace

Japan truly doesn't like deviating from creating the same characters over and over again. not sure if i should be angry at japanese writers or angry at the audience it doesn't get annoyed by the exact same story being retold over and over repeatedly again in a video game whose quality almost entirely depends on if the plot is any good. Allow me to guess, "fedel camus's" town gets destroyed or attacked and i'm designed to feel emotionally invested and fedel must leave the sole home he's got ever proven to go on his first adventure to prevent a fantastic, looming threat orchestrated by a mustache twiddling douche that is motives do not even add up. by the end of the story, the lady without any memory starts to remember and realizing this woman is a the key to a devastating weapon that may end the world however in the conclusion, she uses the power of goodiness to really save the world.. source

Mortal Kombat X is selling "Easy Fatalities" for extra money

Not merely doesn't it affect the game by any means, it literally just allows you to do a fatality by hitting R2+another button, but you can also get them in game through The Krypt so it's not a problem at all. As usual gamers blowing something completely away from proportion. Edit: From reading a number of the comments I feel that some individuals have no idea how fatalities work in MK..(which I find just a little crazy but hey.) A fatality is just an extremely brutal move you could do by inputting a combo after you have already won the match. Fatalities have no impact on the end result associated with the match. These easy fatality tokens just let someone do a fatality by hitting only two buttons together as opposed to a combo string. source other  source

The Witcher 3 screenshots show Geralt in 4K

Character models are fantastic. The environments look pretty bad in comparison. For example; the trail from the first screenshot looks quite poor. All screenshots show a lack of quality within the environment textures though. source

Destiny's next expansion, House of Wolves, will likely not include a new raid.

I really hate just how Bungie is stringing along content. When they released full expansion packs just like the MMO they're wanting to be, I feel like there would be more of a reason to care. No body wants a skinner box simulator, but that's precisely what we got with Destiny only now, they need you to pay without giving you a fresh skin for the skinner box.  Games as a service sucks and if Destiny is the pinnacle of this, then my god have games seriously fallen from where they certainly were just a couple years back. Project Ten Dollar was nothing compared to this. source

Kojima was 'fired' by Konami, says Metal Gear Solid voice actress

"His job role has changed in which he's free to leave in December, which he will." Sounds, in my experience, like he's either getting "reassigned" to a crap position he doesn't want or being otherwise strong-armed into "quitting" so they really don't have to face all the negative PR (which can be working flawlessly). Its been said that when a Japanese company will forget about somebody, they will not outright fire them. They are going to place then in a shitty position and present him utter shit therefore the employee gets so disgruntled they quit on the accord, therefore absolving the business from having to do it themselves. At Kojima's level, you're not fired. You are strongly urged to resign from the position -- and particularly in this culture you're not planning to admit that you are firing someone. Kojima is an intelligent enough guy to learn to take whatever severance or other deal will be offered. Source
